Invited Speaker----Dr. Hiroyuki Miki
Associate Professor, Tohoku University, Japan
Dr. Hiroyuki MIKI is currently an Associate Professor of Frontier Research Institute for Interdisciplinary Sciences (FRIS), Tohoku University, Sendai, Japan. Dr. MIKI received his PhD from Tohoku University in 1997 and joined FRIS at Tohoku University from 2012. His research interests include a material design for improving the QOL of the materials and that of the mechanical systems. The main objective of his research is to develop highly efficient material and improve the lifetime and reliability of a mechanical system which improve energy efficiency and reduce operation cost. His recent research interest focuses on the powder metallurgy technique which dynamically crystallizes the metal powder by the simultaneous operation of "compression and shearing force".
