Dr. Takashi Murakami is a senior research scientist of National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST). His research interests are tribology, intermetallics, powder metallurgy, high temperature oxidation et al. He received his doctor degree from Kyoto University in 2002. He is a member of Japanese Society of Tribologists, Japan Institute of Metals and Materials and Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers.
