Senior Manage, Kajima Corporation, Japan

Dr. Kazuhiko Yamada is a Senior Manage of Nuclear Department, Kajima Corporation. He also teaches at Tokyo Denki University as an adjunct lecturer. He received Dr. Eng. from Kyoto University. He is a P.E,jp and a licensed architect. He has worked for R&D and Design sections in Kajima Corporation for over 30 year. Meanwhile, he studied applied math at Brown University and worked for Japanese government, MEXT for a few years as well. His main interests are in the field of structural dynamics and control, but his work filed is wider. Earthquake engineering, seismic wave propagation and missile impact and so on are also addressed. He undertakes not only research by numerical analysis and mathematical approach, but also development of control devices and ICT tools, and structural design for actual buildings.
