The 2nd International Conference on Material Strength and Applied Mechanics (MSAM 2019)

Welcome to MSAM 2019!

The 2nd International Conference on Material Strength and Applied Mechanics (MSAM 2019) will be held from May 27-30, 2019 in Kiev, capital of Ukraine. Sponsored by Pisarenko Institute for Problems of Strength, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, MSAM 2019 will represent a broad forum for all aspects of material strength to promote our fundamental understanding of material strength under different conditions. MSAM 2019 will also provide an opportunity to present and discuss recent analytical, experimental and computational results in the field of Applied Mechanics to bridge the gap between physical theory and its application to technology. The plenary session will include Keynote Speeches, Invited Speeches, Poster Presentations and Oral Presentations.

Ukraine was the most industrially developed Republic of the former USSR. Its aircraft Antonov and spacecraft and rocket-launch producing plants are well-known worldwide. its agrarian capacities are huge, which make it lucrative for international cooperation. Kiev is known for numerous historical places from 11th century that have UNESCO's status. It is a picturesque city with over 2 million official inhabitants.

Unpublished and original contributions are encouraged to be submitted via the MSAM Online Submission System. All submitted full papers will go through rigorous peer review process and acceptance will be based on the quality, originality, language and relevance.

1. Conference proceedings will be published in IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering (Indexed By: Scopus, Engineering Compendex (EI), CPCI-S, GeoBase, Inspec, etc.)

Proceedings have been published by IOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering in Volume 629. [October 8, 2019]

2. Sponsored by Pisarenko Institute for Problems of Strength, National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, MSAM2019 has attracted about 110 participants from 22 countries and regions, including Italy, United States, Israel, UK, Germany, Japan, Korea, China, etc.[June 5, 2019]

3. Papers published by Strength of Materials in Issue 5, 2018 have been indexed by Science Citation Index.[December 27, 2018]

4. Selected papers from MSAM 2018 have been published by Strength of Materials in Volume 50, Issue 5 successfully.[November 28, 2018]
